Word Hearth is a free Scrabble-like multiplayer word game for one to six players. Build connected words from letter tiles, chase premium squares, and watch one shared board grow turn by turn.
There is no account, app, or download. Open a private room in your browser, start playing immediately, and send the invite link when friends are ready. Late players join the live game without resetting the board.
Your first word must cross the star in one connected row or column. Later turns may place several groups at once, but every group must connect to tiles already on the board and every word created must be valid.
Add the value of every letter in each word. A letter premium changes one tile; a word premium multiplies the whole word. Premium squares count only on the turn when a tile first covers them.
Use all seven rack tiles in one move for a 50-point bonus. The server checks the final board and score, so every player sees the same result.

Arrange your next word during another turn. Friends see the squares, never your letters; conflicts return to your rack.
Shuffle your rack anytime, swap tiles when the bag allows it, or use one of three server-checked hints.
Friends can arrive after turn one, receive a rack, and enter the rotation without restarting the room.
Choose an approximate game length when creating the room. When the bag empties, everyone gets one final turn, then the game ends regardless of tiles left. Two scoreless rounds can still end a stalled game. Rack tiles are deducted from final scores.
The results show the final ranking, winning score, biggest turn, longest word, and final placement. The host can start another round with the same seats and settings.

Both games revolve around building connected words from a shared board. Word Hearth uses classic letter and word premiums, optional turn timers, and rooms that friends can join while the game is already running. You can also switch the timer off or start a solo room.
